About ShortMelon

ShortMelon is a digital growth agency helping brands build, grow, and strengthen their presence online through social media, content, websites, performance marketing, SEO, branding, and more.

We’re looking for a Social Media Intern who is comfortable being on the ground, enjoys creating content, and wants to learn how social media works beyond just posting on Instagram.

What You’ll Do

🎥 Shoots & Content Production

• Assist with basic photo and video shoots for our clients across Delhi NCR.
• Handle a smartphone camera confidently for short-form videos, reels, photos, and behind-the-scenes content.
• Occasionally handle shoots independently when required.
• Help plan basic shots, angles, framing, and content flow.
• Capture raw footage that can be edited into engaging social media content.

💡 Content & Social Media

• Participate in content ideation for Instagram and other social platforms.
• Research trends, formats, hooks, and content ideas relevant to different industries.
• Create basic social media graphics using AI tools and simple design platforms.
• Assist with captions, copy, and basic content planning.
• Schedule and publish content across social media platforms.

What We’re Looking For

You don’t need years of experience. We’re more interested in someone who is curious, creative, willing to learn, and comfortable getting things done.

You should:

• Have basic knowledge of shooting photos and videos using a smartphone.
• Understand basic concepts like framing, lighting, angles, and composition.
• Be comfortable creating short-form content such as Reels and Stories.
• Have an active understanding of Instagram and current content trends.
• Be willing to travel for shoots across Delhi NCR.
• Have good communication skills and a proactive attitude.
• Be comfortable experimenting with AI tools for content creation.
• Be able to work independently when required.

Prior experience in social media, content creation, photography, videography, or marketing is a plus, but not mandatory.
